THE AREA

Pinar de Campoverde is a hamlet located in the mountainous area of ​​Pilar de la Horadada, with around 3,000 registered inhabitants.

It owes its name to two factors: first, its location in a large pine (Pinar) forest next to the Río Seco, and second, the impression it gave to the first residents: a green field.

Born as an urbanisation at the end of the 60s, the current population consists of Spanish, British, Germans, French and Belgium nationals, all looking for a peaceful and calm climate far from the big cities.

Located in a deep valley, the original idea was to develop sustainably, with houses built in such a way that the fewest possible trees were cut down; hence the large amount of forested area that remains.

Pinar de Campoverde has a church, two supermarkets and several bars and restaurants.
